1. Where is the wedding taking place?
The wedding will be held at the beautiful Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It is an all inclusive resort with stunning views and excellent amenities. The closest airport is Cancun International Airport, and is 30 minutes from the resort.
2. How can I book my stay at the hotel?
You have several options to book your stay at Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya. We've noticed better rates on CheapCaribbean.com and Expedia.com than the hotel website so feel free to book through any site that offers the best deal for your needs.
Pay in full: Make a one-time payment at the time of booking.
Pay at the property: Reserve now and pay upon arrival.
Finance the payments: Choose a payment plan that allows you to pay in installments over time.

3. How much is it per person?
The average cost per person for a double occupancy room is under $200 per person per night, while a single occupancy room is about $300 per person per night, not including airfare. These amounts are subject to change based on when you book, how many days you stay, and how you choose to pay. For the best rates, we recommend booking early!
4. Will there be a room block?
We decided not to go with a room block. The prices we were quoted were higher than the rates you can find directly through the Iberostar website, or through booking platforms like Expedia or Cheap Caribbean. This allows our guests to choose the best option for their needs, whether they prefer to finance the payments, pay in full, or pay upon arrival. We recommend exploring these options to find the best rates and terms that suit your preferences.
5. What time is check in?
Check-in time is at 3:00 PM, and check-out time is at 11:00 AM. If you arrive before check in, you are able to store your bags at the concierge while you enjoy the amenities of the hotel Make sure to pack a bathing suit to enjoy the resort if you arrive early!
6. How do we book our transportation?
Depending on how you book, you may have the option to add transportation from Cancun International Airport to the hotel. There are other ways to book transportation, such as through Amstar directly or USA Transfers. To avoid any additional expenses or stress, please make sure to arrange your transportation prior to arriving at the airport. The links below are two options in case you choose to book separately.

7. Are there any activities or excursions planned for guests?
We will make recommendations and provide options for our guests regarding activities and excursions if they would like to participate. Besides the amenities at the resort, you can explore the following nearby attractions:

8. Are children welcome at the wedding?
Yes, children are welcome! We understand that arranging a trip to Mexico might be challenging without bringing your little ones. The hotel offers excellent childcare options, including Star Camp and in-room childcare services, if needed.

Guests staying at Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya have full access to all the amenities and restaurants at Iberostar Selection Paraíso Lindo, Iberostar Paraíso del Mar, and Iberostar Paraíso Beach. All properties run parallel to the beach and are easily accessible. There is a minimum 3-night stay required. We recommend booking early for the best rates.
10. Are childcare services provided by the hotel?
Yes! The hotel offers a variety of childcare options to ensure your little ones have a fun and safe experience. Here’s what’s available:

11. Should I plan to arrive early or stay late?
The resort is a 3 night minimum so we recommend flying in on Friday so everyone can enjoy themselves on Sunday without any obligations. From scuba diving right at the resort to exploring the ancient Mayan Pyramids nearby we want everyone to have a day after the wedding to truly explore the wonderful experiences this area has to offer. Guests are welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer, whatever is best for you. If you plan on staying extra days, we encourage you to add them to the back end of your trip so you can enjoy all the amenities.
12. Passports are required
Your passport needs to be valid for 6 months AFTER your travel dates.
